Franklin was then asked about his defenseās second-half performance as they ramped up the pressure on Utahās passing game ā unfortunately as they were missing starting quarterbackĀ Cameron RisingĀ due to injury.
āYeah⦠[pressure] was the difference in the second half. We were able to get pressure on the quarterback which we werenāt able to do, through not only just four down but also bringing pressure.ā
Rowe closed her post-game interview with the Penn State coach by asking him about his conversation with quarterbackĀ Sean CliffordĀ after the win, as the two shared a moment on the field before the final whistle.
āIām just happy for him. Heās kinda seen it all in his Penn State career. And at Penn State itās important ā not how we just do it on the football field ā but in the classroom and in the community. And heās done it with utmost class the entire time. Thatās what college football is about, thatās what Penn Stateās about.ā
