3-star C Amdy Ndiaye commits to Pitt

Amdy Ndiaye, a three-star center in the class of 2024, has committed to Pittsburgh.
The 6-foot-9, 205-pound senior out of Putnam Science (Conn.) chose the Panthers over Rhode Island, St. Bonaventure, Rutgers, and others.
“I chose Pitt because it feels like home and coach Capel is a great coach,” Ndiaye said to On3. “I trust coach Capel and he’s got a plan that I can be a big piece of.”

In his own words, what type of player is Pitt getting in Amdy Ndiaye?
“I would describe my game as a player who’s very versatile on defense and offense. Being able to shoot the ball from three and attack the basket and being able to guard every position 1 to 5.”
He has a message to PItt fans.
“It’s gonna be a movie next year. Don’t miss the show next year at the Petersen Events Center.”
Amdy Ndiaye is currently unranked nationally in the class of 2024, but is rated as three-star prospect.
