2024 WR Debron Gatling commits to South Carolina
Alpharetta (Ga.) Milton three-star wide receiver Debron Gatling has committed to the South Carolina Gamecocks.
South Carolina was in attendance last week when Milton won a state championship, according to On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons. Gatling took an official visit to Columbia in November.
Gatling decommitted from Texas A&M on Monday. He had been pledged to the Aggies since December 2022.

Gatling is the nation’s No. 799 overall prospect and No. 120 wide receiver in the 2024 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 93 recruit in Georgia.
South Carolina Recruiting Breakdown
The Gamecocks made their splash on August 1, adding Washington D.C. Friendship Collegiate Academy Five-Star Plus+ EDGE Dylan Stewart. He’s the third top-150 pledge in South Carolina’s class, alongside Dillon (S.C.) five-star offensive tackle Josiah Thompson and Savannah (Ga.) Calvary Day School four-star tight end Michael Smith.
Smith, Dorchester (S.C.) Woodland four-star offensive tackle Kam Pringle and Marietta (Ga.) Walton four-star EDGE Wendell Gregory all joined the class in January, giving South Carolina an electric start to the 2024 cycle.
