Gamecocks star defenders run down the hill, troll Clemson after win

South Carolina star defenders Nick Emmanwori and DQ Smith had some fun in Death Valley after the Gamecocks big win over Clemson. Emmanwori and Smith ran down the hill at Clemson after helping the Gamecocks to a 17-14 victory.
Nick Emmanwori and DQ Smith are both in-state products who played high school football in the Columbia area. Emmanwori recorded seven tackles against Clemson, while Smith had four before running down the hill and trolling the Tigers. You can check out the video below:
Nick Emmanwori didn’t stop there, though. The South Carolina safety also took to Twitter to troll Clemson. He posted photos of himself laying down in the middle of Clemson’s field. He also posted a photo of himself holding the Palmetto Bowl trophy and smoking a cigar in the South Carolina locker room.
When you win a rivalry game, you’re allowed to talk trash. South Carolina, Nick Emmanwori and DQ Smith certainly did that. Here are those photos:

The win by South Carolina perhaps helped the Gamecocks clinch a College Football Playoff spot.
Shane Beamer believes the Gamecocks should be in.
“I do believe we deserve a spot in the 12-team playoff. I get it, the committee has a really tough job. They have to choose the 12 best teams. I get it,” Shane Beamer said. “We’ve got three losses. I understand that. But it’s hard for me to sit here and say that we’re not one of the 12 best teams in the country when you look at our strength of schedule, when you look at our wins, on the road.
“I think we’re now 4-1 on the road this year, in tough environments. We’re not going and playing in front of 20,000 people on the road, like some teams do in this country. We go into hostile environments every single week. And our only loss on the road is a two-point loss.
