Report: Juli Boeheim robbed at gunpoint
Juli Boeheim, the wife of Syracuse head coach Jim Boeheim and the co-founder of the family’s foundation, was robbed at gunpoint in a Destiny USA parking lot on Tuesday, according to a report form Syracuse.com’s Chris Libonati.
The report did not provide any supporting documents but instead cited two law enforcement sources. The robbery was reported at 2:08 p.m., per Syracuse.com, and was later made public via a news release that did not identify Boeheim. She came away from the incident without any injuries, according to both Syracuse.com’s sources and the press release.

Syracuse police said that Boeheim was sitting in her car near the Cheesecake Factory, when a young person approached her car and began speaking with her. The person then pulled out and pointed a gun at Boeheim, only to reach into her car and steal her purse, according to police.
No further description was provided other than the person being in their youth. According to the police news release, the person drove away with two others after stealing the purse. The car they drove away in had also been reported as stolen, per Onondaga County Police.
