Four-Star WR Braylon Staley commits to Tennessee
Four-star wide receiver Braylon Staley of Aiken (SC) High announced his commitment to Tennessee Friday afternoon.
The 6-foot, 180 pounder chose the Vols over Miami, North Carolina, and Clemson.
Staley on why he chose Tennessee
“Really just the coaches and culture of the place. I built great relationships with mostly all of the coaches even on the defensive side of the ball. I had a great amount of contact from each coach and that feeling just hit me and I knew it was time.”
Relationship with coaching staff + their plan for him
“It’s like a father son relationship with all of them. I know they’ll take great care of me. I would say I’m closest with Coach Pope then anybody. They are planning on using me inside, outside and possibly the back field to swing me right or left to get me the ball in open space just to show my talent.”
The South Carolina wide receiver joins coach Josh Heupel and the Vols’ top 15 class in the 2024 team rankings. He is accompanied by four-star quarterback Jake Merklinger, four-star tight end Jonathon Echols, and others.
