Tennessee fans, Neyland security continue fight over goalposts in stands

Police in Knoxville are trying their hardest to make sure the Neyland Stadium goal posts do not end up in the Tennessee River. Beating Alabama is always a cause for celebration for Tennessee, doing so for the second time in three years on Saturday. A repeat of 2022 is not wanted though as tasers have been factored into the equation.
The war has moved into the stands as fans and security officials continue to fight over the goal post. A few people are attempting to get it up the stairs and presumably out of the stadium. In a video, you can see police attempting to get people away.
All of this in the middle of cigar smoke, another sign of a win on The Third Saturday of October. Tennessee fans want to relive the celebration from two years ago but are currently in a battle.
You can check out the full video down below.
Even if the battle in the stands continues, everybody involved will go home happy. Getting a win in this game can make entire seasons and Tennessee now gets bragging rights for at least the next year. No matter where the goal posts wind up tonight, a great day for the Vols and their fans.

Police using tasers to prevent goal posts winding up in Tennessee River
Two years ago when Tennessee took down Alabama, the goal posts from Neyland Stadium wound up in the Tennessee River. On Saturday, police inside Neyland Stadium were going to make sure something similar did not take place. While they likely were happy to see the Vols get a win, tasers were pulled out to keep the goal posts safe.
Right after the game ended, there was somebody there to take the goal posts down. They were affiliated with the stadium crew, though. Fans were not behind the process. In a video captured, you can hear police telling people to back up and move away.
