Texas Tech calls out College GameDay in highlight video of Arizona win

ESPN College GameDay has been a staple of the college football world for decades. And fans love to tune in and see the predictions. The problem is, when those predictions go wrong, players and teams across the country don’t hesitate to call them out on messing up. The Texas Tech Red Raiders stunned the Arizona Wildcats on Saturday night, and made the College GameDay crew eat their words.
So, after they won, Texas Tech didn’t hesitate to call out College GameDay in their highlight video they posted on Sunday night.
Texas Tech has been playing an exciting brand of football this year and they are one of the more underrated teams in the country. It’s safe to say after the big win over Arizona, they’ve got the nation’s attention. Red Raiders running back Tahj Brooks has been one of the most exciting players in the country and he’s got the stat profile to prove it. He’s reeled off five straight games of over 100 rushing yards. Brooks has tacked on seven touchdowns.
Against Arizona, he ripped off 21 carries for 128 yards and three touchdowns. Texas Tech still couldn’t find any answer for Wildcats receiver Tetairoa McMillan, who has shown to be one of the most dominant receiver prospects in the country. He hauled in eight catches for 161 yards in the loss.

Texas Tech quarterback Behren Morton has played very well, completing 62.9% of his passes for 1,640 passing yards, while tossing in 14 touchdowns and two interceptions. Wideout Josh Kelly has led their receiving corps, hauling in 44 catches for 514 yards and three touchdowns. He didn’t have that great of a game against Arizona.
The Red Raiders’ defense stepped up in a big way, snatching two interceptions from Wildcat quarterback Noah Fifita. The Arizona win is certainly a statement victory for Texas Tech. Now they’ll have to continue to build on that and finish off the season strong.
