“First and foremost I’d like to thank God for his guidance and blessings upon my life,” he wrote on Twitter. “Then I would like to thank my parents and family for the love and support they gave to push me all my life and get me to where am today. And lastly, a big thank you to all my friends and people who have supported me throughout my journey. With that being said I am blessed and excited to announce that I am going to commit the the University of California Los Angeles.”
The 6-foot-5, 280-pounder chose the Bruins over offers from UNLV and Hawaii. He is UCLA’s sixth commitment in the 2023 cycle.
In eight games as a junior last season, AJ Fuimaono was credited with 22 total tackles.
