Tyger Campbell reveals emotions of winning Pac-12 Championship

Tyger Campbell and the UCLA Bruins are officially champions of the Pac-12.
The program captured the regular season crown by beating Colorado but it wasn’t without a little help, as Arizona lost to Arizona State. Afterwards, Campbell kept his eyes on the bigger prize, believing the Bruins have a lot more work to do in 2023.
“It feels great,” responded Campbell, asked how it feels to capture the Pac-12 title. “But we’ve got a lot more to do this season.”
Nevertheless, Campbell can bask in the glory of a title for a little while. His 12.5 points per game, coupled with his 4.7 rebounds per game helped bring the trophy home to Los Angeles. The Bruins will now turn their attention to the Pac-12 Tournament, where they’ll be the top seed.
March is going to be a hectic month for Tyger Campbell and the Bruins, but UCLA is built for it. They have the right mindset, and there’s going to be some fun times ahead.
Jaime Jaquez says UCLA winning Pac-12 was ‘very important’
Moreover, the Bruins’ title was also an incredibly important accomplishment for star Jaime Jaquez.

Speaking with the media afterwards, Jaquez explained why this was so important after the win over Colorado.
“Very important,” Jaime Jaquez said. “I think it goes to the four years of hard work that guys like…even guys who just stuck around and really bought into the idea of coming back and playing for something bigger than us.”
By winning the Pac-12 regular season title, UCLA earned the top seed in the Pac-12 Tournament. Right now, ESPN’s Bracketology lists the Bruins as a two-seed in the NCAA Tournament.
“I think that was one of the goals that we had in the beginning of the year and we accomplished it,” Jaquez said. “And, now, we’ve got two more goals that we want to accomplish as well, and we’re just going to keep working hard.”
