Duncanville (Texas) five-star wide receiver Dakorien Moore is taking an unofficial visit to USC on Sunday. He has previously spent the last few days in Los Angeles participating in Overtime’s OT7 Finals.

Moore is the No. 8 overall prospect and No. 2 wide receiver in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 2 player in Texas.

(Outside wide receivers) coach (DennisSimmons… he was at (Oklahoma),” Moore told On3’s Chad Simmons on Jan. 21. “He brought me to USC, so I want to get out there.”

According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Texas is leading for Moore’s commitment at 44.0%. Other schools to recently host the 5-foot-11, 175-pound wideout include Texas (June 3), Oklahoma (April 22) and LSU (April 15).

The Trojans’ 2025 recruiting class currently contains one player. Oxford (Ala.) Thompson four-star safety Anquon Fegans, the No. 17 overall prospect in the On3 Industry Ranking, chose head coach Lincoln Riley and his staff on May 7.

Moore is looking at some of the top programs in college football. Two of them are Ohio State and Oregon.

“I want to get out to Ohio State,” Moore said. “(Offensive coordinator/wide receivers coach) Brian Hartline, he talked to me a lot, so I want to get there to Ohio State.”

“I just feel they’re going to turn it up when I get down there, family-wise,” he shared about Oregon. “I feel they’re gonna be real genuine and show me love when I get down there and introduce me.”

Moore performed well during Overtime’s OT7 Finals

Moore was named one of On3’s top performers of the OT7 Finals. His performance across multiple days stood out among nearly 250 prospects who attended the event.

“If there was a wow-factor award today, it would have gone to Duncanville (Texas) five-star wide receiver Dakorien Moore,” On3 Scouting and Rankings Assistant Cody Bellaire wrote on June 16. “He had more eye-popping plays than anyone else out on the field this afternoon. He made a ridiculous contested catch on the far sideline in Game 3 for Trillion Boys, then came back the next play and made an even more absurd contested catch in the back of the end zone.

“Was the second catch ruled incomplete because he was out of bounds? Sure. But it doesn’t come off the highlight reel and Moore was basically a walking highlight for a majority of the evening. His teammate Donovan Olugbode may have found the paint more consistently, but Moore made heads turn all afternoon.”
