Comedian Theo Von was once again spotted with the mother of Vanderbilt quarterback Diego Pavia at Saturday’s contest between the Commodores and Kentucky. The game also happened to be Senior Night as it was Vanderbilt’s last home game of the season, and Von joined Pavia’s mother, whose name is Antoinette Padilla, on the field pregame as the QB was honored.

Von and Padilla were seen walking together as she put her arm around him. They both walked over and hugged Pavia and said a few words with him before the game.

Although there’s been no official confirmation as to whether Von and Padilla are dating, this is not the first time they’ve been seen together, fueling rumors. Von crashed an interview Pavia was doing with the Nightcap podcast in October and was in the background with Padilla.

The saga began when Von, who lives in Nashville and had a friendship with Pavia, was in attendance for a game between Vanderbilt and South Carolina earlier this season. He revealed then that he made a bet with the Commodores QB that if the team won the game, he would get to go on a date with Padilla.

“My goal is I’d like to marry a nurse someday so that’s why,” Von said of why he wanted to date Pavia’s mom on SEC Network during that Week 3 game against South Carolina. “He was telling me about that. I like being his friend, so I don’t want to end up being like his stepdad or something. We’ll see what happens.”

Vanderbilt did end up winning by a score of 31-7 and, after some back-and-forth on social media, it looks like a real relationship may potentially be brewing between the two. But regardless, Von has continued to be a supporter of Pavia throughout this entire football season, attending multiple games.

The Commodores are rolling, and they defeated Kentucky on Saturday by a score of 45-17 to improve to 9-2 (5-2 SEC) on the season. They sat at No. 14 in the College Football Playoff entering this week, however, with just an 18% chance to make the 12-team field according to ESPN.

Vanderbilt will cling to that hope as it heads into a matchup against in-state rival Tennessee to close out the season. Kickoff for that game is set for 3:30 p.m. ET next Saturday at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville.
