On300 OL Layth Ghannam commits to Virginia Tech

Charleston (W.V.) George Washington four-star interior offensive lineman Layth Ghannam has committed to Virginia Tech, announcing the news Saturday on social media.
Ghannam is the No. 248 overall prospect in the 2023 On300 ranking, which also places him as the No. 20 interior offensive lineman in the class and the No. 1 prospect from the state of West Virginia.

He is the ninth commit in the 2023 Hokies recruiting class, which currently ranks 54th in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Ranking. Among ACC conference foes, Virginia Techs ranks seventh.
There are three other offensive lineman commits in the group: Harrisburg (Pa.) Bishop McDevitt three-star interior offensive lineman Gabriel Arena, Alcoa (Tenn.) three-star interior offensive lineman Lance Williams and Roanoke (Va.) North Cross School offensive tackle Hannes Hammer.
