Top-150 SG Parker Friedrichsen commits to Wake Forest

Parker Friedrichsen is off the board and has committed to Wake Forest.
The 6-foot-4 shooting guard out of Bixby (Okla.) High previously signed with Notre Dame, before receiving his release from his National Letter of Intent following the news of Mike Brey’s retirement at the end of the season.
Friedrichsen was also formerly committed to Oklahoma State before reopening his recruitment last May.
The Oklahoma native tripped to Winston-Salem earlier this month for an official visit. He becomes the third player in the 2023 class to commit to Steve Forbes and the Demon Deacons, joining four-star guard Aaron Clark (No. 109) and four-star forward Marqus Mitrovic Marion.
According to the On3 Consensus, the average ranking from all four major recruiting media companies, Parker Friedrichsen ranks as the No. 122 overall prospect in the 2023 class.

Friedrichsen on his commitment to Wake Forest
“I chose Wake Forest because of the way Coach Forbes and his staff believe in me and the way it felt like home!”
Scouting Report
Parker Friedrichsen Scouting Report from Jamie Shaw:
“Friedrichsen can really shoot the basketball. He has a pure stroke with the comfort and footwork to shoot off the catch or off the bounce. Friedrichsen has the upside to being a combo guard. He has the instincts and the vision but will need to add strength. In fact, at about 165 pounds, the strength is something he will need overall. Friedrichsen has a high basketball IQ. He understands footwork and angles. At around 6-3, he does have long arms. The tools are in place; the strength is what needs to come along.”
