Washington State is the No. 66 ranked class in the On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Ranking.
The class has zero four-star recruits according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. Every recruit except Grays — who is an unranked prospect — is considered a three-star recruit.
He is the first defensive back recruit in the 2022 class for the Cougars.
Inglewood (Calif.) three-star linebacker Taariq Al-Uqdah and Goodyear (Ari.) Desert Edge three-star quarterback Adryan Lara are the top two recruits in the class.
Grays previously attended Richmond (Texas) George Ranch, where he was an all-district player.
