As a College Recruit

Mauling offensive lineman who is one of the strongest run blockers in the 2023 cycle. Has primarily played left tackle at the high school level but likely projects inside long-term due to his frame and skill set. Measured at 6-foot-4.5, 318 pounds with a 32.75-inch arm prior to his senior season. Has a well-proportioned, developed build with excellent weight distribution. Plays with outstanding leverage and loose hips to dominate in the run game. Shows foot speed and balance in pass protection and as a puller. Very strong in the weight room. Posted a 615-pound deadlift, 415-pound bench press and 315-pound hang clean in 2022. Plays left tackle for one of the top high school programs in New Jersey. Faired very well against top competition as a senior. Showed his athleticism doubling as a disruptive defensive lineman. Lacks the athletic profile or neutral setting exposure of some other top offensive linemen but posted some of the best senior film of the group. On the older end of the spectrum for offensive linemen in the 2023 class.

Chase Bisontis is a highly physical, strong offensive lineman who excels as a drive blocker. His flexibility and power remind us of David DeCastro. Bisontis is heavier than DeCastro was at the same stage.

Chase Bisontis impresses in rivalry game

Charles Power

Chase Bisontis and his Ramsey (N.J.) Don Bosco Prep faced off against rival Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic on Saturday afternoon. The 6-foot-4.5, 315-pounder had a very strong game in the 31-7 win over a Bergen team that includes On300 Texas defensive line commit, Sydir Mitchell. Bisontis is a grounded, functional mover. He has a strong base and plays with outstanding leverage, sinking his hips and driving up through defensive linemen. The Aggie commit excelled as a run blocker, opening some big holes. He finished a handful of blocks with authority and also showed off some movement skills in working to the second level. The hand placement, overall technique, play strength and competitive temperament were also impressive. Bisontis works at left tackle for Don Bosco, but is likely to end up inside long-term due to his length and skill set. With that said, he has shown signs of a very high floor and has the look of an early starter at the college level.
