Florida State commit Chris Parson showed some encouraging competitiveness at the Elite 11 Finals. He won the hole shot competition on Tuesday and had a very good 7-on-7 showing, hitting 14-17 attempts for 3 touchdowns. Parson narrowly missed making On3's Top Performers in large part due to his struggles on Day 2, with the lowest target score on the day.
Chris Parson’s first start as a high schooler came on one of the biggest stages at that level of the sport: the 6A Division I Texas state championship. Parson started for Duncanville (Texas), but the powerhouse fell to Houston North Shore in the game. He didn’t play for Duncanville again, as he transferred to Red Oak (Texas) as a sophomore and then Brentwood (Tenn.) Ravenwood as a junior. He led Ravenwood to a 10-3 record in his first season at the school. Parson likes to read leadership and sports biographies in his free time. He is the son of Shon and LaMont Parson. He has a sibling named Alexis.
