As a Recruit
Personal Life
After graduating from American Fork (Utah) Lone Peak in the Class of 20218, Connor Pay served a full-time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Washington, D.C. Pay was an On3 Consensus three-star recruit that picked BYU over Utah State, Utah, Oregon and USC. Pay played in eight games during the COVID-19-impacted 2020 season. Then in 2021, Pay started in 10 games for the Cougars at both center and right guard. He was one of only 26 players on the BYU roster to play in every game and was a key reason why the Cougars averaged 33 points a game. Pay came into the 2022 season as an All-America candidate.
