Personal Life
Darrion Trammell played his high school basketball at Saint Ignatius High School in San Francisco before he signed with City College of San Francisco, one of the top junior college programs in the country. After playing one season there, he moved on to Seattle University. At Seattle U, Trammell led the WAC in points, points per game, field goal attempts, field goals, steals, steals per game and 3-point percentage. He averaged 20.5 points and 3.8 rebounds during the 2020-2021 season. Then during his junior season at Seattle U, he was again the league’s leading scorer, leader in assists and leader in steals with a 17.4 point and 3.8 rebound average. He then transferred to San Diego State for his senior season, where he helped the Aztecs reach the Final Four for the first time in school history. He scored 12 points and had five rebounds in the Elite Eight victory over Creighton and had 21 points in the Sweet 16 upset over No. 1 seed Alabama.
