As a College Recruit

Tall, athletic cornerback with a high level of technical skill as an underclassman prospect. Stars for one of the top high school football programs in the state of Texas. Listed at an unverified 6-foot-2, 170 pounds. Took a big jump as a sophomore, showing lockdown tendencies, particularly in man coverage. Smooth and technical with the footwork, instincts and play speed to stay attached. Makes some impressive plays in downfield coverage. Turned in some strong track times as a sophomore, with a personal best of 10.81 seconds in the 100 meters. Looks to have one of the best size and speed combinations among cornerbacks early on in the 2025 cycle. Will need to continue adding good mass and strength in addition to continuing to develop his already solid ball skills.

Devin Sanchez's high end combination of size, length and top-end speed reminds us of Eric Stokes. Sanchez is more polished and experienced in man coverage at the same stage. Stokes was a touch faster on the track and showed more physicality as a high school prospect.

Devin Sanchez rises into top ten of 2025 On300

Charles Power

Devin Sanchez moved into the top ten of the updated On300, checking in at No. 9 overall. We thought Houston North Shore’s product had some of the best sophomore film among cornerback prospects we evaluated for the initial release. Sanchez is a technically skilled corner who fared well against top competition in the state of Texas’ highest classification. His ability to stay attached and make plays on the ball downfield stood out. Sanchez has bolstered his evaluation with some impressive track times this spring, highlighted by a 10.81 second 100 meters mark. The film backed up by the track results helped drive Sanchez’s jump into the top ten.
