As a College Recruit

Advanced arm talent with the ability to make a wide variety of high-level throws as a high school signal-caller. Was identified as a top arm talent and quarterback in the 2024 cycle early on in his high school career. Physically developed at around 6-foot-3, 220 pounds with a 9.75-inch hand. Has continued to add mass later on in his high school career. Owns a natural, loose throwing motion with arm dexterity to deliver off-platform and from multiple arm slots. Showed a deep catalog of throws as a sophomore. Easily drives the ball to all levels of the field. Showed off one of the cycle's best deep balls at the Elite 11 Finals. Played both under center and in the shotgun as a junior. Ahead of the curve as a ball-handler and in the quick passing game. Shows good footwork and awareness in the pocket. Capable of creative plays in the face of pressure. Completed 64% of his passes for 2,287 yards (8.7 yards per attempt) and 21 touchdowns against 5 interceptions as a junior. Primarily a pass-first quarterback as a junior, not running for many yards and finishing with -92 yards rushing - an anomaly for a top quarterback prospect. Will need to show more mobility and playmaking ability and up his overall play as a senior. Can let his throws hang at times. Transferred to his fourth high school prior to his senior season. The son of 14-year NFL center Dominic Raiola. Also a standout baseball player as a pitcher and catcher early in his high school career.

Dylan Raiola turns in strong showing at Elite 11 Finals

Charles Power

Dylan Raiola finished as On3's No. 2 Top Performer at the Elite 11 Finals. He made a strong push for the top spot with a fantastic showing in 7-on-7 on Day 3. The Five-Star Plus+ prospect completed 13 of 16 passes for four touchdowns. The Georgia pledge has easy arm strength. There is zero strain as he drives the ball downfield. He likely had the best and most effortless deep ball we saw at the Elite 11 Finals. The deep ball was on display on Friday, as he delivered a handful of beautiful vertical passes in 7-on-7. Raiola also showed strong timing and accuracy with his receivers while throwing against defensive backs. While he was in the middle of the pack on Day 1, the Arizona native and NFL legacy got stronger and stronger as the week progressed. He was increasingly comfortable in the setting and allowed his pure arm talent to take over. Raiola entered the event with a bunch of eyeballs due to his lofty status and answered the bell, in our opinion. He’ll need to use this positive momentum as a spring board in an effort for a rebound senior season, but the week of work at the Elite 11 Finals has to be taken as a positive sign.

Dylan Raiola rated as a 5-star in initial 2024 On300

Quarterback Dylan Raiola debuts as the No. 1 overall prospect in the 2024 cycle. We came away viewing the 6-foot-3, 210-pounder was the top quarterback prospect in the cycle at this point in time. Raiola looks like the top arm talent in the 2024 cycle at this stage, in our opinion. As a sophomore, he showed the ability to make a wide variety of high-level throws. Raiola has a loose, pliable arm with the ability to deliver off-platform from multiple arm slots. We see him make high level, reactive and creative plays at a high clip. Raiola also turned in one of the more productive sophomore seasons among top 2024 quarterbacks. The son of former Nebraska All-American and 14-year NFL veteran Dominic Raiola has since transferred from Burleson (Texas) High to Chandler (Ariz.) High.
