Added close to 20 pounds as a junior. Took over for Heisman winner and No. 1 pick Bryce Young at SoCal powerhouse Mater Dei as a freshman. Has a stellar win-loss record against top competition. An accurate passer. Throws with excellent timing. Shows the ability to throw with touch and layer the football. Sees the field well and makes quick decisions. Has faced complex defenses. Primarily works from the pocket and has a good feel for the pass rush. Completed 68.1% of his passes for 2,785 yards and 31 touchdowns against 4 interceptions. Rushed for 16 yards and 4 touchdowns. Arm strength registers as average. Does not test as a top athlete relative to other blue-chip quarterbacks, running a 5.15 second 40 yard dash. Older for the cycle, turning 19 years-old in the middle of his senior season. Will be a 20 year-old college freshman.
