Francis Mauigoa is originally from 'Ili'ili, American Samoa. He played both ways on the offensive and defensive lines as a freshman at San Bernardino (Calif.) Aquinas before transferring to IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. Older brother, Frederick Mauigoa, was a three-year starter at center for Washington State. His other brother, Francisco Mauigoa, is a linebacker at Washington State and was a three-star recruit in the 2021 class. Mauigoa plans on majoring in math in college. He lists his hobby as playing volleyball. His parents are Fa’alialia and Telesia.
