As a Recruit
Personal Life
Isaiah Bond arrived at Alabama as a Class of 2022 four-star recruit and the No. 7 receiver prospect in the country, according to the On3 Industry Ranking. Bond saw time as a freshman for the Crimson Tide recording 17 receptions for 220 yards and a touchdown in 2022. Bond earned a starting spot for Alabama in 2023, where he emerged as one of the Crimson Tide's top offensive weapons. But it was his 31-yard touchdown reception with 32 seconds left in the 2023 Iron Bowl that cemented his name in the national spotlight. "IB really kind of got himself in position where there was some room to throw it," Alabama coach Nick Saban said after the victory. "He pushed inside, and the DB was inside of him and then he came back out and Jalen threw it back out to him, and it was a great catch." While in high school, Bond won the Georgia 6A 100-meter and 200-meter state titles.
