In the first-ever Division I NCAA Tournament appearance for the Grambling State University men's basketball program, Jimel Cofer scored a career-high 19 points off the bench with two rebounds and two steals to lead the Tigers to a victory over Montana State in the 2024 March Madness bracket. “I just know my team has my back,” Cofer said. “Anybody on this team can get hot at any time. It was just my night.”
