Personal Life
Joey Tanona is a multi-sport star at Zionsville High School. Along with success in football, Tanona also competes in track and field with a 170 feet, 3 inch throw in the discus and a 56 feet throw in the shotput. His parents are Joe Tanona and Kelly Bendis. His high school coach, Scott Turnquist, says Tanona is a very intelligent offensive lineman, but he also has a nasty streak that you love to have in a leader.

Reminds Us Of
Joey Tanona works as an offensive tackle at the high school level but projects as an interior lineman, likely at center. Like Ryan Kelly, Tanona has a streamlined build with room to add weight once in college. Both were technical, physical players at the high school level.
