Twitchy, highly coordinated athlete who projects as one of the top defensive back prospects in the 2025 cycle. Has plus stature and length, measuring in at close to 6-foot-1, 180-pounds. Registered as one of the top athletes on the spring camp circuit prior to his junior season. Is a two-way star on Friday nights, making plays on offense as a receiver and ball carrier while doubling as a cornerback. Rarely tested on defense, but shows his considerable athleticism and plus ball skills on offense. Very fluid and surprisingly polished in defensive back drills in the camp setting. Looks to have notable upside at defensive back once he focuses on the position full-time.

Na'eem Offord's functional athleticism, smooth movement skills, elite change of direction and playmaking ability on Friday nights reminds us of Stephon Gilmore. Both are similar from a size and athleticism perspective at the same stage. Gilmore played a bunch of quarterback at the high school level, while Offord is used as a defensive back and versatile offensive threat, lining up at multiple positions on that side of the ball.

Na'Eem Offord debuts as a five-star in initial 2025 On300

Naeem Offord (No. 4) emerged as On3’s top 2025 defensive back prospect over the course of the rankings process. For starters, he has plus size, length and athleticism. Offord is around 6-foot-1, 180 pounds with a 6-foot-7 wing-span. The physical gifts transfer over to the field, where Offord is a two-way playmaker for Birmingham (Ala.) Parker. He showcases ball skills and big-play ability as a wide receiver and overall offensive weapon. While Offord is not tested often at corner, he was very polished in defensive back drills for a rising junior and looked to be a loose, fluid mover.

Naeem Offord a top performer at Under Armour Atlanta camp

Naeem Offord was an obvious standout in a defensive back group that was not overly loaded at Under Armour Atlanta. The 6-foot-2, 175-pounder is labeled as an athlete but looked like a natural at defensive back. Offord’s size more than checked out and he was noticeably strong in coverage during 1-on-1’s. We saw the Birmingham (Ala.) Parker standout come down with an impressive pick. He later had good coverage on Mike Matthews, staying in phase downfield.
