As a Recruit
Travon Walker was a three-sport athlete at Upson-Lee High in Georgia, playing football, basketball and track. He was a 2019 All-American Bowl particpant after a standout career on the defensive line as well as some time as a tight end and running back. While football would be his way to the Bulldogs, his high school basketball career was full of accolades too. He averaged 12 points and 11 rebounds for his career as his team won two state championships and 75 games in a row. At Georgia, he was a contributor on the defensive line as a freshman and sophomore before moving in a starting role as a junior and thriving for the eventual national champs. His parents are Lasonia and Stead Walker. He has two siblings, Shantel and Nikeria.
