Late-rising quarterback prospect with good physical tools. Measured over 6-foot-3, 187 pounds with a 9.75-inch hand prior to his senior season. Tests as a good athlete, running a 4.74 second 40-yard dash and jumping 35.6 inches in the vertical. Also participates in track, where he puts up good results in the long jump and triple jump. Led his team to a state title in Nebraska as a junior, completing 70.1 percent of his passes for 2,885 yards and 26 touchdowns against seven interceptions. Also ran for 10 touchdowns. Shows good arm strength on Friday nights and in the camp setting. Can push the ball vertically and hit some tight window throws downfield. Can continue to improve in making off-schedule plays, but has the mobility to pick up yards when the play breaks down. Does not play overly strong competition at the high school level. Ball placement can vary at times in the camp setting.

Zane Flores has solid week at Elite 11 Finals
Oklahoma State commit Zane Flores was in the mix for the final spot in On3’s Top Performers at the Elite 11 Finals. Flores had a solid week that with a steady showing that didn’t feature too many highs or lows. The 6-foot-3, 195-pounder is probably not as polished as some others at this stage, but has tools to work with.
