Zayden Walker comes from a long line of successful football players coming out of Schley County. His half-brother, Zykevious, ranked as one of the nation's top EDGE recruits in the 2020 class before signing with Auburn. Another brother, Jalewis Solomon, is a four-star recruit coming out of the 2024 recruiting class. Walker said he uses the death of his father, Lewis Walker III, who was the victim of gun violence as a motivating factor to be great at everything he does. Walker says he writes his father's name on his tape or gear to honor him. “My dad really drives me,” Walker told DawgNation. “I lost him at a very young age. What I get is always great stories when I hear them.” Even though he is a linebacker recruit, Walker plays both way for Schley County. As a freshman, he rushed for 1,001 yards and 18 touchdowns. He also racked up more than 27 tackles for a loss and 10 sacks through the first three years of high school play.
