Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese NBA 2K25 appearances revealed

Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese will be featured in the video game NBA 2K25, and their appearances are spot-on. NBA 2K revealed a first look at the two WNBA rookies ahead of the release of NBA 2K25 in September. This comes as Clark and Reese are battling for the Rookie of the Year Award.
Now that the Olympics are over, the WNBA will return to action on Thursday. Clark is the odds-on favorite to win Rookie of the Year, but Reese is a close second. So far this year, Clark leads all rookies in points per game (17.1), assists per game (8.2) and steals per game (1.5). Reese broke the league record for consecutive double-doubles with 15.
Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese talk All-Star game
Clark and Reese played together in the All-Star game as the two and other top WNBA stars took on Team USA in July. “Everybody can cheer for both of us for one day, which is gonna be cool,” Reese told ESPN’s Michele Steele. “I’m excited. This is gonna be the first of many. I know we’re gonna be on All-Star teams together in the future. Olympic teams together in the future, too.
“I’m just excited just to be here in this moment and everybody coming and being able to watch. I know it’s gonna be a sold-out crowd. Women’s sports is going into a rise, and I’m happy.”

Earlier this month, Clark talked about playing in her first All-Star game. “It was fun,” Clark told WHO-13. “Honestly, that whole all-star experience. Obviously, it was my first time, so I didn’t really know what to expect. And going down there, my biggest goal was just to have fun. I think that’s the main reason we won is we were just having so much fun playing with one another.
“It was kind of just like going out there and playing pickup as a young kid. We didn’t have any plays. We didn’t have a scouting report. You’re just going out there and having fun and playing basketball like you know how to, and I think that’s honestly the reason we won.”
Clark and Reese will battle each other one more time in the regular season. The Indiana Fever and Chicago Sky will square off on Friday, Aug. 30 at 7:30 p.m. ET.
