Jackie Young has now won three WNBA championships with the Las Vegas Aces and is just two shy of tying Rebekkah Brunson for the most in league history. On3 attended a championship event for Young at the Las Vegas Raising Cane’s flagship restaurant on the Las Vegas Strip and asked her if she ever dreamed of winning multiple championships when she joined the W.

“Honestly, no. I think you dream of just getting one, and sometimes it takes your whole career,” Jackie Young told On3 and a group of reporters who attended the event. “But now, Aces basketball is a standard, and so every year we come into training camp, we know that we’re prepping in order to win a championship.”

The Aces selected Young No. 1 overall in the 2019 WNBA Draft. With the trio of Young, Chelsea Gray, and reigning WNBA MVP A’ja Wilson, the Aces have won the league championship three times in the last four years (2022, 2023, 2025).

During this stretch, Young has established herself as one of the best guards in the WNBA. Along with winning three titles, the 28-year-old has been named an All-Star four times, selected to the All-WNBA Second Team twice (2023, 2025), and won the Most Improved Player Award in 2022.

Young also talked about how winning this third title is different from the previous two. “It’s completely different, honestly, just because of how the season went,” she said. “It started off pretty rough, being .500 and then getting beat by 53 points, and then being able to string together 17 wins in a row in order to get to a good spot for the playoffs. And so that was the biggest thing was trying to get, first off, making the playoffs, and then get into a spot where we wanted to be so that we could have home court advantage and things like that.”

Young will celebrate the title with the rest of her Aces teammates at the parade on Friday. And to get her ready for the big event, the former Notre Dame star worked a shift at Raising Cane’s, where she served food to fans at the counter and worked in the kitchen. She also spoke to Raising Cane’s founder and owner, Todd Graves, via FaceTime.

“It’s really cool, actually,” Young said about Raising Cane’s support of the W. “Cane’s is nationwide, and so just being able to have Cane’s support us in the W and basketball as a whole because the game is growing, and it’s cool to just have a big supporter just supporting us in the game.”
