Women's basketball takeaways: 11/18 edition

It was a more interesting day in women’s hoops than expected. Here are my daily takeaways.
1. Ole Miss/Memphis goes to extra time
Ole Miss at Memphis provided the perfect Tuesday evening entertainment. The Tigers controlled the majority of the game, but a fourth quarter push from the Rebels took the game to overtime.
Ole Miss was able to take over in extra time, but there are a couple takeaways from this game:
- The Rebels have some work to do in taking care of the ball and efficient scoring at all three levels
- Memphis looks much-improved already and I was incredibly impressed with the effort on both ends of the floor
This isn’t a game to overreact to, but I’ll be curious to see how Ole Miss responds in the next couple of weeks against some solid competition.
