Women's basketball watchlist: 11/18 edition

It’s a slower day of women’s hoops but there’s still a few games that are worth the watch.

BE SEATED AT ALL COSTS

These are the games you’re going to want to skip work for – the ones that will tell us a whole lot about the best of the best.

9pm: UNLV at Montana State (ESPN+)

This is a phenomenal mid-major showdown. I’m excited to see how UNLV responds after a close loss to Baylor last week.

9pm: Boise State at Colorado (ESPN+)

Colorado has the potential to be really solid this year, but this should be a good test against a competitive mid-major.

THIS COULD BE COMPETITIVE/FUN

These matchups are more than just your run-of-the-mill easy blowouts. While some of them have the potential to be, these games are an opportunity to see good teams test themselves early.

12pm: Murray State at Illinois (Big Ten+)

6pm: Temple at Richmond (ESPN+)

6pm: Duquesne at Robert Morris (ESPN+)

8pm: SMU at Grand Canyon

10pm: Portland at USC (Big Ten+)

A DECENT LOOK AND/OR AT OPTIMAL TIMES

These games will either be a solid look at a team or they just fall at optimal times. If you’re in need of basketball to watch all day (like me), these are games to add to your list. 

11am: FIU at UCF (ESPN+)

2pm: Utah State at Oregon State (ESPN+)

5pm: Quinnipiac at Yale (ESPN+)

6pm: Norfolk State at Penn (ESPN+)

6pm: UMass Lowell at UMass (ESPN+)

6pm: Le Moyne at Pittsburgh (ACC Extra)

7pm: Purdue at Kentucky (SECN)

7pm: Sacred Heart at Georgetown (ESPN+)

7:30pm: Troy at Kansas State (ESPN+)

8pm: Ole Miss at Memphis (ESPN+)

WATCH YOUR TEAM WIN A BLOWOUT

The rest of the games here will likely provide no true competitive value – but you never know. These games are just a look at some P5’s playing teams they should beat with ease.
