Alpine

Alpine High School, located in Alpine, Texas, is one of Far West Texas’ respected public-school athletic programs and has built a proud tradition of competition across multiple sports. Known as the Bucks, the school competes in the University Interscholastic League and fields teams in football, basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, golf, tennis, track and field, cross country, powerlifting, and cheer. The Bucks are particularly recognized for football, basketball, baseball, and track and field, with programs that have earned district championships, playoff appearances, and produced numerous collegiate athletes. Supported by dedicated coaching, passionate community pride, and a culture emphasizing discipline, teamwork, and competitive excellence, Alpine High School continues to rank among Far West Texas’ respected athletic programs.
