Established in 1931, Arts High School in Newark, NJ, is the nation's first public high school dedicated to the visual and performing arts. Serving grades 9–12, AHS offers majors in Dance, Drama, Vocal and Instrumental Music, Cinematography & Media, and Visual Art. With a rigorous academic curriculum, including Honors and AP courses, students achieve a 95% graduation rate. The school's vibrant community fosters creativity and academic excellence.
