Burges High School, located in El Paso, Texas, is one of West Texas’ historic public-school athletic programs and has built a proud tradition of competition across multiple sports. Known as the Mustangs, the school competes in the University Interscholastic League and fields teams in football, basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, volleyball, wrestling, golf, tennis, swimming, track and field, and cross country. The Mustangs are particularly recognized for football, soccer, and track and field, with programs that have earned district championships, playoff appearances, and produced numerous collegiate athletes.
