Early

Early High School, located in Early, Texas, is one of Central Texas’ respected small-school athletic programs and has built a strong tradition of success across multiple sports. Known as the Longhorns, the school competes in the University Interscholastic League and fields teams in football, basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, golf, tennis, track and field, cross country, powerlifting, and cheer. The Longhorns are particularly recognized for football, basketball, and baseball, with programs that have earned district championships, playoff appearances, and produced numerous collegiate athletes. Supported by dedicated coaching, passionate community pride, and a culture emphasizing discipline, teamwork, and competitive excellence, Early High School continues to rank among Central Texas’ respected small-school athletic programs.
