Freedom

Freedom High School, located in Orlando, Florida, is one of Central Florida’s premier public-school athletic programs and has built a strong tradition of success across a wide range of sports. Known as the Patriots, the school competes in the Florida High School Athletic Association and fields competitive teams in football, basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, volleyball, wrestling, golf, tennis, swimming, bowling, track and field, cross country, weightlifting, flag football, water polo, and lacrosse. Freedom is particularly renowned for football, where the Patriots have captured multiple district championships, made numerous state playoff appearances, and consistently produced NCAA Division I athletes while competing against many of Central Florida’s top programs. The school has also enjoyed significant success in boys soccer and wrestling, regularly advancing deep into district and regional postseason competition while developing collegiate athletes. Supported by outstanding athletic facilities, passionate community backing, and a culture emphasizing discipline, leadership, academic achievement, and competitive excellence, Freedom High School consistently contends for district and regional honors across numerous sports. The Patriots’ sustained athletic success has established them as one of Orange County’s respected public-school athletic programs.
