Gateway

Gateway High School, located in Kissimmee, Florida, is one of Central Florida’s respected public-school athletic programs and has built a strong tradition of success across a wide range of sports. Known as the Panthers, the school competes in the Florida High School Athletic Association and fields competitive teams in football, basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, volleyball, wrestling, golf, tennis, swimming, track and field, cross country, bowling, lacrosse, water polo, weightlifting, and flag football. The Panthers are particularly renowned for football, where they have consistently competed for district championships, qualified for the state playoffs, and produced numerous collegiate athletes while competing against many of Central Florida’s top programs. The school has also enjoyed significant success in boys basketball and baseball, regularly advancing to postseason play and developing collegiate talent. Supported by quality athletic facilities, a strong International Baccalaureate program, passionate community backing, and a culture emphasizing academic achievement, leadership, and competitive excellence, Gateway High School consistently contends for district and regional honors across multiple sports. The Panthers’ sustained athletic success has established them as one of Osceola County’s respected public-school athletic programs.
