Hereford

Hereford High School, located in Parkton, Maryland, is one of the most accomplished athletic programs in Baltimore County and has earned statewide recognition for excellence across multiple sports. Known as the Bulls, the school competes in the Baltimore County Public Schools athletic conference and is a member of the Maryland Public Secondary Schools Athletic Association. Hereford has achieved sustained success in football, soccer, lacrosse, basketball, baseball, softball, wrestling, volleyball, track and field, cross country, golf, and tennis. The Bulls are particularly renowned for cross country and track and field, where they have captured numerous state championships and established one of Maryland’s premier distance-running traditions. Hereford has also enjoyed significant success in soccer and lacrosse, producing collegiate athletes and championship-contending teams. Supported by strong community involvement, excellent facilities, and a culture emphasizing hard work, discipline, and sportsmanship, the Bulls consistently compete for county, regional, and state honors.
