Hooks High School, located in Hooks, Texas, is one of Northeast Texas’ respected small-school athletic programs and has built a proud tradition of success across multiple sports. Known as the Hornets, the school competes in the University Interscholastic League and fields teams in football, basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, golf, tennis, track and field, cross country, powerlifting, and cheer. The Hornets are particularly recognized for football and basketball, with programs that have earned district championships, deep playoff runs, and developed collegiate athletes.
