Irving

Irving High School, located in Irving, Texas, is one of the Dallas–Fort Worth area’s historic public-school athletic programs and has built a proud tradition of competition across multiple sports. Known as the Tigers, the school competes in the University Interscholastic League and fields teams in football, basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, volleyball, wrestling, golf, tennis, swimming, track and field, and cross country. The Tigers are particularly recognized for football, basketball, and track and field, with programs that have earned district championships, playoff appearances, and produced numerous collegiate athletes. Supported by dedicated coaching, passionate community pride, and a culture emphasizing discipline, teamwork, and competitive excellence, Irving High School continues to rank among the Dallas–Fort Worth area’s respected athletic programs.
