Jefferson

Jefferson High School, located in El Paso, Texas, is one of the city’s historic public-school athletic programs and has built a proud tradition of competition across multiple sports. Known as the Silver Foxes, the school competes in the University Interscholastic League and fields teams in football, basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, volleyball, wrestling, golf, tennis, swimming, track and field, cross country, and cheer. The Silver Foxes are particularly recognized for football, soccer, and track and field, with programs that have earned district championships, playoff appearances, and produced numerous collegiate athletes. Supported by dedicated coaching, passionate community pride, and a culture emphasizing discipline, teamwork, and competitive excellence, Jefferson High School continues to rank among El Paso’s respected athletic programs.
