Legacy of Educational Excellence High School, located in San Antonio, Texas, is one of the city’s respected public-school athletic programs and has built a strong tradition of competition across multiple sports. Known as the Volunteers, the school competes in the University Interscholastic League and fields teams in football, basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, volleyball, wrestling, golf, tennis, swimming, track and field, and cross country. The Volunteers are particularly recognized for football, basketball, and soccer, with programs that have earned district championships, playoff appearances, and produced numerous collegiate athletes.
