Manvel High School, part of Alvin Independent School District, opened in 2006 to serve the rapidly growing community of Manvel, TX. The school offers a variety of academic and extracurricular programs, including a competitive athletics department. The Mavericks' sports teams, especially football and basketball, are well-regarded and have achieved state-level success. School colors are red, white, and blue, with the maverick horse as its mascot.
