Maud High School, located in Maud, Texas, is one of Northeast Texas’ respected small-school athletic programs and has built a proud tradition of competition across multiple sports. Known as the Cardinals, the school competes in the University Interscholastic League and fields teams in football, basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, golf, tennis, track and field, cross country, powerlifting, and cheer. The Cardinals are particularly recognized for football, basketball, and baseball, with programs that have earned district championships, playoff appearances, and produced outstanding student-athletes.
