Moanalua

Moanalua High School, located in Honolulu, Hawaii, is one of Oahu’s most respected and well-rounded public-school athletic programs. Known as the Menehunes, the school competes in the Hawaii High School Athletic Association as a member of the Oahu Interscholastic Association. Moanalua has achieved sustained success across football, baseball, softball, basketball, soccer, volleyball, wrestling, judo, paddling, track and field, cross country, golf, tennis, and swimming. The Menehunes are particularly renowned for boys volleyball, one of Hawaii’s premier programs, with multiple state championships and a long history of producing collegiate athletes. The school has also enjoyed significant success in baseball and soccer, consistently competing for league and state honors. Supported by strong community involvement, excellent facilities, and a culture emphasizing discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship, Moanalua regularly contends for OIA and HHSAA championships across numerous sports.
