Jason Crowe Jr. etched his name further into California high school basketball history on Tuesday night.

In his 100th career high school game, the Inglewood superstar has broken the state’s all-time career scoring record with a 51-point performance on Tuesday in a 112-75 win over Beverly Hills. The senior shooting guard needed 29 points to reach the record, and he nailed a 3-pointer early in the third quarter to surpass 3,659 career points, a mark that was set just a year ago by St. Joseph’s Tounde Yessoufou.

His father Jason Crowe Sr., who’s also the coach of Inglewood, walked to mid-court with his arms up in the air after the record-breaking bucket. Crowe Jr. was then swarmed by his teammates and media before being presented with a certificate and a ball, stamping his record as official.

After a slow start in the opening period, Crowe got going toward the end of the half and put up 24 as Inglewood built a 57-32 lead. He stayed in his rhythm from there and closed in on the record quickly. Crowe scored 27 in the second half and now has 3,682 points and counting in his illustrious career.

It’s yet another notch in the belt for Crowe, who has long been one of the most dominant high school hoops prospects in the nation, regardless of classification. Entering his senior season, he averaged 36.6 points across his sophomore and junior campaigns.

Last month, he broke the CIF-Southern Section career scoring record. He’s now overtaken the record for the entire state’s rich hoops history. That record will be tough to reach by the time Crowe wraps up his senior season.

Crowe actually started his career at the Lynwood, averaging 36 points a game as a freshman (2022-23) and 37.4 points as a sophomore. Ahead of his junior campaign, he transferred to Inglewood last year and averaged 35.3 points.

The 6-foot-3 shooting guard is the No. 12 overall prospect and No. 3 SG in the 2026 cycle, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 4 player in California.

He committed to Dennis Gates and Missouri on July 18 and remains locked in with the SEC program. Crowe is, obviously, a scoring machine and figures to make an especially large impact when he takes the leap to the college level.

Leading Inglewood, Crowe and Co. are now 7-1 early on in the 2025-26 season. While they rank outside the top 50 in the state per the Rivals Composite Rankings, the Sentinels will always be a tough out when they’ve got the five-star guard on the floor.
