Jordan Fisher joins Florida powerhouse Columbus High School

Freelance international scout Alec Kichian shared on X (formerly Twitter) that Canadian forward Jordan Fisher will play for Columbus High School. He will be eligible for three seasons and graduate as a part of the Class of 2028.
Before playing for the Explorers, Fisher will likely represent Canada in the FIBA Under-16 AmeriCup in Mexico next month. If he makes the team, he will likely play with C.J. Rosser, the top prospect from the Class of 2027 based on the On3 Industry Rankings.
Meanwhile, Columbus Basketball’s Instagram account posted about Fisher, “Jordan is already recognized as one of the top players in his class, and he’s earned that distinction through his relentless motor and ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor. A true student-athlete, Jordan brings not only talent but also character and work ethic.”
Playing for Columbus will be a tall order for Jordan Fisher because of the team’s championship legacy. Powered mainly by twins Cameron and Cayden Boozer, the Explorers won four consecutive Florida high school state championships. Likewise, Columbus won the recent Chipotle Nationals, making them the de facto national high school basketball champions.

Fisher’s entrance can help Columbus retain their championship pedigree. He will be teaming up with five-star forward Caleb Gaskins, ranked 11th (98.13) among the Class of 2026 prospects. Jaxon Richardson isn’t far behind at 16th with a 97.22 On3 Industry Ranking. Keeper Jackson, Cello Jackson, and Alec Cohen-Laboy are some of the players who can take Fisher under their wing.
Jordan Fisher is the younger brother of guard Elijah Fisher, who helped Canada win bronze in the 2021 FIBA Under-19 World Cup. After initially playing for Texas Tech for his first year, Fisher transferred to DePaul for his sophomore college basketball season. For his junior year, the 6-foot-6 guard played for the Pacific Tigers.
While Fisher is only in his sophomore year, he already has multiple NCAA Division 1 offers, including Robert Morris, Providence College, and Texas Rio Grande Valley.
